Lost Ark addresses gold sellers, matchmaking problems, and Central Europe queues

While Lost Ark is still a rip-roaring success for Amazon in terms of player numbers (especially when compared to its other game), there are still some ongoing issues that the publisher is keen to monitor, which brings us to an update on top issues that the team is keeping tabs on.

One of the larger issues plaguing the game is gold sellers and bots swarming the MMOARPG, and while over a million illegal accounts have gotten the boot, the post once more confirms that more needs to be done. One such step that has recently been taken is changing gold rewards to silver for some rapport and guide quests in order to prevent abuse.

The post also notes that bug fixes will come a bit slower than normal as the game moves to a more weekly update cadence, which will subsequently be the point when bug fixes are applied unless they’re particularly game-breaking. “Hotfixes are a valuable tool for critical issues, but we want to limit how often the game is offline,” the post explains.

The post isn’t all glum news, however: According to the update, queues in Central Europe have begun to level off thanks to stability updates made in the background and the expulsion of bots clogging up the servers in the region. Additionally, matchmaking problems have been cleared thanks to the game’s March update.

Finally, Europe West players who are looking forward to adjustments to login goodies will have to wait a bit longer for news, as the devs are currently locking down what should be handed out. More details will be shared in the game’s official forums.
