Kan-E-Senna is a lush.

We talk a lot about disappointment here. I talk a lot about disappointment. There are a lot of times when you look forward to a patch or an expansion or a whole new game, and it arrives with all the intensity and joy of a fish flopping lifelessly against a dock. But that’s not always what happens. Sometimes you look forward to a new release and it arrives, and it’s everything you had expected. Maybe even more! Maybe it exceeds your expectations and makes you intensely happy in ways you wouldn’t have expected!

Or maybe it doesn’t live up to your expectations, but it still winds up living up to most of them. So what MMO-related release within the last five years has held up to your excitement the best? What new update or expansion or game or whatever came in and didn’t disappoint you after all?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
