World of Warcraft’s Classic realms welcome one more go-round of Brewfest before Wrath Classic

This was smart. This was a good plan. I'm glad we're doing this.

Well, it’s only a few more days until you can play all of Wrath of the Lich King Classic and see how the memories of that venerable World of Warcraft expansion stack up against almost the reality. That’s a thing. But before then, would you like to visit another zone, the legendary zone of Drinkin’ Island? Yes, Brewfest is back around on the WoW Classic servers so you can get some good old-fashioned inebriation in before you head up to Northrend.

It’s worth noting that as previously announced, this version of Brewfest will still be the Level 70 version, so players will not be getting the level 80 rewards from this particular incarnation. The one major difference is that this version does feature achievements, so players can get started on earning the Violet Proto-drake from the meta-achievement. Otherwise, though, it’s just a chance to visit the aforementioned Drinkin’ Island before heading up to the frozen north. The liquor will keep you warm.

(Note: In the interests of safety it is important to point out that alcohol does not actually warm you up and actually drops your body temperature. Please do not assume vodka will resist hypothermia.)
