OK, I’ll confess that I am so not a dragon guy. I don’t get the appeal, I don’t find them awe-inspiring, and I roll my eyes every time a game, movie, or novel portrays these hopped-up lizards as some sort of ancient wisdom-slash-battle platform.
But I’m not most of you nor pretty much every MMORPG designer, apparently, because dragons are everywhere in our online worlds. Even scifi ones can’t resist sneaking in a drake or two when no one is watching. This year alone we’ve seen two expansions leverage dragons in their name in what I can only assume to be a strong push from the dragon lobby in D.C.
Well, if we all love dragons so much, let’s throw down over them. Which MMO has the best dragons and why?
