Step one: Find a dragon that’s been shunned from the rest of its pack. Step two: Befriend the dragon with copious amounts of ripple-striped fudge cookies. Step three: Sing to the dragon songs of your youth and innocence. Step four: Find the Grand Dragon Borzel and cut out his jeweled heart before he can roast you alive. Step five: Jam the jewel into the dragon’s forehead to bind it to you forever.
