It’s time to get foxy in the console version of Black Desert as this week’s patch has introduced the Maegu class and all of its spicy fox magic that PC players have been enjoying since January. Some day there will be platform parity, but it is not this day.

The arrival of the Maegu not only means a new class to roll but also several events with hot time and leveling rewards for the class, while the console version is also deeply discounted until April 20th on Xbox and April 12th on PlayStation. Xbox players will also get to enjoy the game for free between now and April 9th.

This week also opens the spring seasonal severs for console players, applies a number of class adjustments, and introduces the new wildspark hunting byproduct item.

As for the PC version, the game has received a major refinement for the trading life skill: Players can now look for rumors that might hint at new market fluctuations, trading wagons can now carry three times as much stuff, a “special fluctuation” will change market prices at a fixed time every four hours, and 202 new trade items have been added.

Other updates for PC players include a change to mount XP earnings, more class balance changes, and new events involving golden goose eggs and springtime login rewards.
