Producer’s letters are being handed out left and right in the EverQuest franchise this week. In EverQuest II, the Kael Drakkel lore and legend server is going to become available to all players through April 25th and hand out free pets to make it more “friendly” to newcomers.

Next up for the MMO is the release of Update 122: Empire of Antiquity, followed by the Zarrakon TLE PvP server at the end of this month. Additionally, the Tarinax and Kaladim servers will be merged into Antonia Bayle in April.

As for EverQuest, the classic MMO vows that the new UI engine is “almost here” and will be implemented piecemeal over a series of weeks and months.

Daybreak announced that a new progression server named Oakwynd for EverQuest is coming in May as an “evolving ruleset” shard. This experimental approach will feature various rules and bonuses with each expansion unlock and give all legacy characters an XP boost.
