Book of Travels continues to apply bug fixes and general gameplay updates

The patching, polishing, and bug fixing continues for tiny multiplayer online title Book of Travels. The game’s two latest patches continue developer Might & Delight’s quest to iron out the early access game’s many wrinkles.

As one might expect, these patches are pretty targeted in terms of what they address. Fixes attack incorrectly sized sprites, UI weirdness, “invalid poems,” camera stuttering, and rendering performance in several areas, while gameplay adjustments include intended creature spawns, updated descriptions, noisy sand and new music in Kasa, and an increase in difficulty for the Droll lockbox endeavor.

Speaking of sounds, the developers have put out an ASMR video, and have also had some fun with a tweet typo and shared the exploits of a spider hiding in marshmallows. Game dev, everybody.
