Good news, RIFT fans! After recent months when most of the news about the game has been about merges and transfers, the game’s test server is being re-opened until August 12th. Players will get a chance to test… something! Presumably. The announcement does not make any hint about what players will be testing, just saying that it will be a chance for players to participate in events with a community manager on Friday, August 9th. “Just play normally,” the announcement says.
If you have the vague sense of being told by a disembodied voice to just keep acting normally while you are standing in your kitchen, that may be appropriate. But for the moment, the post has instructions about how to access the test server even if mum is the word on what players will actually be testing during this particular excursion. You’ll even get a week of Patron time for testing, which seems generous. Keep your eyes peeled for what is actually being tested.
