Warframe’s August 21 Lotus Eaters update sets the narrative table for Warframe 1999’s winter arrival

Are you excited to go back in time to Warframe 1999? Then you’re going to want to fire up the game on Wednesday, August 21st, when the Lotus Eaters update drops since it will act as a prologue to whatever wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey thing is happening in the looter shooter’s weird and wild narrative.

“The Man in the Wall does not sit idly by – this short Quest picks up following the events of Whispers in the Walls with The Lotus calling upon players to investigate a strange, but familiar sound in Sanctum Anatomica on Deimos. The path leads to Albrecht Entrati… but how?”

In addition to this upcoming prologue quest, the update will also add more player-made TennoGen items and debut Sevagoth Prime as the game’s next Prime Frame, complete with some of the usual extra gubbins that Primes get such as increased energy, shield, and armor stats; an extra Naramon Polarity mod slot; the wrist-mounted Epitaph Prime sidearm; and unique cosmetic items.

The Lotus Eaters will come to eat your lotuses on all platforms when it launches. And if you happened to have missed out on all of the other Warframe and Warframe 1999 reveals from this year’s TennoCon, MOP’s MJ has got you covered.
