It’s almost time for another update to Genshin Impact, and much like others before it, this one has some new things like gacha characters, zones, and quests, as well as an extremely poetic name: Tapestry of Spirit and Flame, which will arrive on Wednesday, November 20th.
This latest patch will introduce the lost city of Ochkanatlan, which is plagued by a contagion and lorded over by a rampaging dragon. Players will get to explore and fight to retake this area with the help of two new saurian creatures to control that provide some new aerial movement to vault upwards through this multi-layered location. The zone will also host new abyssal enemies and a new boss that can alter its form.
Another major feature for the update is a new main story quest line that focuses on the recovery efforts of the Flower-Feather Clan as well as a new event quest that sees players join in on an investigation of a mysterious accident.
Last but not least, another two new characters are arriving to the RPG’s gambling pool: the four-star electric bow-wielding Ororon, and the five-star anemo bow user Chasca. Both characters will be in a gacha banner during the first half of the update’s release. The patch will also add quality-of-life updates that refine the Imaginarium Theater, easier wood gathering in the Serenitea Pot, and easier assignment of artifacts based on recommended or customized plans.
