Jumping back into WoW Classic with the new fresh start servers has been quite the amazing (and nostalgic!) experience. But I was taken aback when the discussion in general chat started to bash Hunters with that old pejorative of “Huntard.” It’s honestly been years since I’ve heard this or thought of any class in a negative way, and it was a little disheartening to see that meme resurrected once more.
Sometimes memes, in-jokes, or slang that used to be funny simply aren’t any more and should be set out to pasture. So that’s the question I’m going to put before you today: What MMO meme should be retired in 2024, never to be seen or heard again?
