The snowballs are flying and the theater critics are sharpening their quills as the Yule Festival returns for another season in Lord of the Rings Online. The annual event kicks off on December 12th and runs through January 6th with some new rewards, including a Snowy Evening outfit, housing walls, and steed. Also, a super-fat pig.
Update 42.3 continued to make adjustments to Legacy of Morgoth’s account-wide reputation boosts: “Account-based reputation boosts for Legacy of Morgoth factions will now function properly for all types of VIPs. For now, you will still need to log in a qualifying high reputation character before the Favoured Standing activates for alt characters on the world.”
The patch also fixed a lot of botched Elf armor models, added more Moria essences, and added milestones to Shonith and Vartúlin. Presumably this will be the last patch of the year before Update 43 comes out in early 2025.
