The Daily Grind: Which MMO do you play that doesn’t seem to want your money for cosmetics?

Video games sell you cosmetics. This is pretty much normalized at this point, 15 years into the F2P revolution, whether you like it or not; you can toss down some dollars and then you can get a nice new outfit. But some games seem to not really want you to put down that money. Indeed, some MMOs I have played seem to have no lack of cosmetic options in the shop, but they clearly don’t care if I buy them because… why else would they make all these cosmetics I don’t want?

All right, it’s because someone wants them (presumably), but I trust the point is made. There are MMORPGs that are not really trying to sell you cosmetics because the cosmetics they have to offer are, y’know… unattractive. So which MMO do you play that doesn’t seem to want your money for cosmetics? Which game is asking for you to throw down some cash but seemingly unaware that it has made that option materially unappealing?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
