One of the reasons my family keeps gravitating back to MMOs like Guild Wars 2 and City of Heroes is that they have an extremely flexible group size. Some days my daughter just doesn’t want to play games. Some days my son has too much homework. Some days my husband has to grade instead. So the games that flex well to our group size without expecting exactly five or six people just suit us. And it’s also why survival sandboxes like Astroneer play so well in our household.
But I like my MMOs. Which other MMOs should I be looking at? Which MMOs have the best small group content for two or three players?
