Recently we reported on how a one-month charity drive in World of Warcraft resulted in players effectively raising $2M to cure a rare form of MS. When I wrote that post up, I realized I wasn’t even aware that this was a thing — I must’ve missed the first article back in December — so I missed out on the opportunity. And that’s a bit of a shame because the fox backpack is adorable and the cause was very worthwhile.
Sometimes we miss out on MMO promotions that, in hindsight, we wish we would’ve purchased. Maybe it was an incredible sale, or a free giveaway, or a lifetime subscription that was only here for a very limited time… and we either were ignorant or didn’t pull the trigger on it.
