I admit the temptation to talk about Star Wars Galaxies’ Meatlumps today because they are fun and weird and such a fun little piece of Star Wars lore now. But when I really think about villain groups, my brain instantly goes to City of Heroes because it has so many memorable sets!
My all-time favorite for style is definitely the Tsoo. They’re not the most annoying group in the game to fight, although they can be rough if you’re not prepared for the sorcerer’s hurricane. But they are extremely stylish, being a mish-mash of multiple east and south Asian cultures, clothes, and iconography that all makes sense given their melting pot backstory. Besides… extremely cool hats. If I had to join a villain group, it’d be the Tsoo!
