Remember back in February, when DECA Games finally posted a memo to Star Trek Online fans to let them know how the transition from Cryptic was going and what kind of communication to expect from the new team going forward? Well, at the time, we pointed out that only STO had gotten any kind of an introduction. And now, we can add Champions Online to that list, as the new community manager chose April 1st to say hello.
“I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Community Manager for Champions Online here at DECA Games!” the new CM, Breezy, writes. “I want to assure you that we have a team dedicated to supporting and keeping Champions Online alive and thriving. We know how much this game means to you, and we’re here to keep the spirit strong and the servers running. In the coming weeks, you’ll start seeing new efforts to bring life back into our social channels, increase developer interaction, and create more opportunities to connect with you, the players.”
OK, so it’s light on content, but it’s a start.
Worth noting is that Champions did get a little effort in recent weeks as DECA brought back FoxbatCon this week and even retooled the inventory UI in March. “This is just one of many quality-of-life improvements we’re working on to make your adventures in Champions Online even better,” DECA says.
