With server merges looming next week for players of Aion Classic EU, Gameforge is taking the opportunity to dish out freebies and benefits to players. Think of it as some digital headpatting before the servers smoosh into one on April 9th.
From now until April 23rd, players on the Classic server will be handed multiple reward packs that are stuffed with chests, consumables, and materials, provided players have a character that is level 10 and up, as well as server-wide XP boosts and the promise of more handouts if enough players fill out a survey. Fans should note that these bundles are one per account and dates for when these goodies are available will change over the next few weeks.
On the subject of server merges, Gameforge has also put out an FAQ that addresses things like character and legion names, having multiple characters of different factions on the server, merges for account warehouse items, and more.
Circling back to events, Classic is also hosting an Easter event that tasks players with catching evil bunnies that are trying to ruin the season somehow. A weekly mission will task players with snatching 10 of these nefarious leporidae to earn event currency, which can be spent on mithril chests, consumables, and a plush bunny onesie. What discerning warrior of the realm doesn’t want that to wade into battle wearing a comfy onesie?
