If you’re looking to enjoy an aural trip down memory lane while playing Dune: Awakening, then Funcom has you covered thanks to an in-game radio that will feature classic Dune game tunes. Dtunes, if you will.

The announcement confirms that the Communinet (aka the radio) will feature three channels for players to tune in to, two of which will feature music from the 1992 PC games Dune and Dune II: Battle for Arrakis. “The soundtracks of Dune and Dune II were some of the greatest of the ’90s, and it is a great honor to be able to share them with a new generation of players through the Communinet in Dune: Awakening,” notes chief creative officer Joel Bylos.

The Communinet will also feature broadcasts about in-game world events like incoming sandstorms or the Landsraad, so this will likely be a Fallout-style tool for players to utilize while managing thirst, sandworms, and FFA PvP out in the Deep Desert. A preview video below awaits to either throw listeners back in time or give the young’uns context.
