We’ve been informed by reliable sources that these days eggs are a big deal, which makes it an even bigger deal that Final Fantasy XIV is using our strategic egg reserve for parasols. Will egg even keep you that dry? It is apparently a very large egg, so that helps. Of course, all this talk of egg no doubt means that you have ascertained the game’s Hatching-tide is coming back around, and that is accurate; it kicks off on April 9th this year.
This year’s event is promising just the one reward in the form of the egg parasol, which we suppose isn’t specifically made from egg. Maybe the quest line that starts with Jihli Aliapoh will shed some light on the exact egg composition of the parasol. Either way, you can find out more when the event arrives, although it will only be available until April 24th. In other words, you should egg sooner rather than later. (It is hoped that “egg” is understood as a verb here.)
