WoW Classic’s Season of Discovery servers move into Phase 8 with the Scarlet Enclave raid

Weren’t WoW Classic’s Season of Discovery servers supposed to stop somewhere around Phase 6 a while ago? It seems that Blizzard wants to keep this Classic+ experiment going a little while longer because the studio just introduced Classic players to Phase 8.

It’s not a small patch, either. Season of Discovery servers got a boost of new content, including infiltration quests into an enemy town, a legendary weapon questline for Warriors, Hunters, and Pallies, and the pièce de résistance, the Scarlet Enclave raid.

“A splinter faction of the Scarlet Crusade needs your aid in fighting an insidious evil at Tyr’s Hand. They need your assistance in retaking the Scarlet Enclave for good, glory—and new rewards. Players can engage with eight new bosses as they make their way through this new raid dungeon and collect new eight-piece armor sets for their class,” Blizzard said.
