If you’re one of the 4,000,000 people who’ve already bought into the Enshrouded hype, then this week has been a good one for you. That’s because Keen Games has teased the survivalbox’s sixth update at the Triple-I Initiative. In fact, it was kinda the headliner for the show, which is sort of the indie version of The Game Awards (etc.), only it advertises itself with the tagline “no ads. no hosts. just games.” Just cheeky. Just love it.
Anyhow, Enshrouded’s update 6 is called Thralls of Twilight, and while the devs don’t say much beyond that “the future is bright for Enshrouded, but it the outlook is a little… foggy,” the video does give some hints at the new locale and mobs. It looks as if you’ll be gliding, swinging, and slashing your way to a destination called Embervale. And yes, it’s very foggy and glowy. Floating jelly fish dudes! Creepy bugs and plant critters!
It’s kind of a lot for an early access game, but it’s coming soon: Thralls of Twilight launches in May.
