LOTRO and DDO devs host a meet-and-greet at PAX East

Any Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons and Dragons Online fans heading to PAX East next month (or happen to live in the Boston area) are invited to rub shoulders with the developers of those MMOs at a special community meetup.

Standing Stone Games announced that it’ll be present at the Harpoon Brewery on Friday, May 9th, for a few hours in the evening. Fans who RSVP will be welcome to hang out with the devs and other players — no PAX East ticket required.

Meanwhile, the studio explained how LOTRO’s new homesteading coin currency will be converted from mithril coins and writs, saying, “The Homesteading Coins in the store are going to be set at the same LP conversion as a writ: 1 Premium Writ :: 5 Homesteading Coins = 50 Points :: 1 Homesteading Coin.”

“We also used the moment to adjust some of the point values of some of the items sold in the store because, over time, they’ve remained high,” the devs continued. “It’s time they got some spring cleaning. Some items in their Homesteading Coin form are cheaper than their store counterparts, and their store counterparts will be changing too. This is all intentional.”
