Now that Jagex’s survival sandbox RuneScape: Dragonwilds is out in the wilds of early access, the obvious question is just what the studio has in mind over the course of its ongoing development. Some of those details were shared by Jagex during yesterday’s livestreamed unveiling via a roadmap.

The map itself doesn’t have any dates or timelines on it since the devs said that priority of updates will be subject to player feedback, but it does promise some intriguing additions, chief of which is a new region known as Fellhollow complete with its own new dragon champion Imaru and lots of ghosts and skeletons to contend with. Introduction to this region will see players once again teaming up with Death when this area arrives.

The map also confirms more new skill professions with their own successive trees and abilities are coming such as the classic Farming, Ranged, and Magic lines. The devs also promise that more additions that will be familiar to RuneScape fans are coming, but details on what were not provided.

There is also the promise of additional gear, more quests, a new lesser dragon enemy sub-type, more crafting tiers, and a hardcore mode later in the game’s development, alongside ongoing updates to performance, multiplayer difficulty, tutorials, and combat. The roadmap as presented can be expanded by clicking the image below.
