Sometimes it’s nice to just hang out. As adults, we don’t get a lot of opportunities to just hang out. Heck, sometimes the old-man-yells-at-cloud part of me thinks smart phones have taken away our ability to just hang out. In a game, nobody can reach you; you’re just sitting in a place with people you like and just being there. You’re hanging out. It’s kind of boring, but that’s also kind of nice. Nothing is happening. And MMORPGs can be a nice virtual place to do that!
Of course, there are varying tiers of hanging out to be had. In some games it’s really hard to do much more than stand around; you can’t lounge on chairs or whatever. In other games there’s an abundance of places, ways, and options to just hang around and chat while accomplishing little to nothing. So in your eyes, what’s the best MMORPG to hang out in? Which game is great for just chilling in as a group?
