MapleStory Worlds expands its reach to the entire world with this week’s global launch

While Nexon’s MapleStory Worlds fully launched this past January, that was only in North America and Europe. Now the Roblox challenger has its sights set a little higher: the entire world. Citizens of Senegal, Palau, and Bolivia (and, you know, more) can now get their hands on this PC and mobile MMO.

Nexon is banking on MapleStory Worlds’ powerful creation tools as being the big draw here, saying, “Using intuitive drag-and-drop tools or advanced Lua scripting, players can bring their imaginations to life by designing in-World or avatar items, setting custom revenue models and making their creations available for other players to purchase.”

The default game experience comes with three modes: a card battler, an RPG hack-and-slasher, and a survival experience on Durango: The Lost Island. Past that, players can use over 30 million MapleStory assets to whip up their own, safe-for-work creations.
