What’s an MMO without guilds? Anyone who’s ever been in an early build of a game without this essential social feature can tell you how awkward and frustrating it feels before such a system arrives. Fortunately for fans of the virtual reality MMO Ilysia, those feelings are no more as of Patch 0.4.2 this week.
“Guilds have come to Ilysia,” the devs announced. “The guild system includes custom roles, permissions, private guild chat, and lays the foundation for new guild XP and skills coming!”
On top of that, this week’s update overhauled its armor system so that shields recharge faster, armor scales with player power, and “wearing heavy armor now acts as it should.” Players can check out the new shield bash technique and enjoy the revamped XP and loot system that now includes mob tagging, better XP rewards, and grouping loot rights.
