On May 13th, World of Warcraft is lighting Season 2 of The War Within’s gear progression on fire and thrusting it at the scream while a really intense dude screams at you, “ARE YOU READY FOR GEARING UP IN WOW?!” It is implied that the question cannot be answered in the negative. Or the positive. It’s a really confusing rhetorical question that doesn’t have a clear answer, but the point is that gearing up is going into turbo mode with a new weekly quest to defeat at least four bosses in the Liberation of Undermine raid along with a raid gear vendor.
Yes, that’s right, a raid gear vendor. You can buy raid gear for the puzzling chips you get from that weekly quest, although you need to defeat the bosses at a corresponding difficulty to purchase their gear. There are also Delve and profession improvements to further encourage players to pump their item levels up. If this sounds like exactly the sort of thing that you are, in fact, ready for, you’ve got only a couple weeks to wait before it goes live on May 13th.
