Welcome back to Make My MMO, MOP’s long-running column where we keep track of crowdfunded MMOs, both brand-new titles just starting their campaigns and older games long past their fundraising.

After months of player anticipation – and skepticism – we’re waiting with bated breath for the end-of-April stream that Camelot Unchained has promised backers. “As you know, the team retooled our efforts last year on Camelot Unchained, and we’ve made a tremendous amount of progress since we last shared an update,” Mark Jacobs told fans. “As April draws to a close I will present the updated CU in my return to livestreaming on the Unchained Entertainment Twitch channel. I could talk forever about the changes, upgrades, and visual improvements that the team has made but I’ll let you, our Backers, judge our efforts to date when you see the video that we’re putting together.”

Meanwhile, Embers Adrift is preparing its long-awaited Steam release, Ship of Heroes talked up its graphics ahead of its spring launch, and Pantheon launched its first fresh-start server – as well as its first server merges. Finally, we’re keeping an eye on two upcoming Kickstarters: Eldramoor and Everwind.

Read on for more on what’s been up with MMO crowdfunding over the last few weeks, plus our roundup of all the crowdfunded MMOs we’re following!

Yes, some crowdfunded MMOs most definitely do succeed. But others crash and burn, and you need to hear about the whole spectrum of games that sought your money early in exchange for the promise of input and transparency. And that’s exactly what Make My MMO does several times a month. Help us keep ’em accountable, would ya?
