Dreamhaven, the publisher headed by former Blizzard head honcho Mike Morhaime, is continuing on its multiplayer title march with the release of its newest offering, studio Secret Door’s Sunderfolk. And this one is a unique experience; it’s offering players a chance to play together in a four-person video game adventure. This in and of itself isn’t all that unusual, but the game isn’t meant to just be co-op with four consoles or on couch co-op, as the game lets players join in with their mobile devices to control the game.
In other words, it’s like playing a board game but with a TV screen (or a stream) as the shared board. And who wouldn’t enjoy that? You take control of one of six classes and team up to save your beloved animal village in the Sunderlands. If that sounds like your jam and/or exactly what you need to spice up your next game night, check out the trailer just below.
