As ZeniMax continues to reshuffle its entire cadence and format for Elder Scrolls Online in 2025, one welcome change is coming for all players who didn’t purchase last year’s Gold Road chapter, which is that everyone’s going to be getting the scribing system come the summer.
“Scribing is coming to the base game, free for all players as a claim in the Crown Store, in mid-July with an associated Golden Pursuit,” said ZeniMax. “You will see Scribing in the Crown Store on the PTS on Monday as part of this testing.”
Elder Scrolls Online currently is testing the first part of its Seasons of the Worm Cult, which includes the hyped subclassing system and a new area called Solstice. And if you’re curious how large the game has grown over the past decade-plus, one player has put together a fancy map of Tamriel showing all of the playable zones thus far.
