It’s nearly the end of April, and that means it’s time for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis to dish up content plans for the month of May, which is once more full of limited-time urgent quests, events, and yet another collab with an anime series.
The updates start on May 7th, when the Omen of the Planetbreaker D.2 urgent quest returns for a limited time to challenge parties of eight players, along with a new two-way battle drill limited quest that has two teams of 12 fighting through different routes in the same instance.
Following that on May 13th is the second half of the NGS fourth anniversary event, which introduces more free lockboxes, goodies, and quests for gear all the way through June 4th. This portion of May’s updates will also add another limited-time urgent quest.
After that, May 21st will provide login goodies themed after the anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime alongside lockbox cosmetics styled around the show, then May 27th adds another limited quest where players race to kill enemies and earn points as fast as possible.
