If you’ve been waiting for Lord of the Rings Online to open up its latest promised US 64-bit server, you’ll have to endure a little while longer. While SSG previously said that it had hoped to get Sting activated this week, it pushed the launch to next Wednesday instead.

“We currently intend to open Sting and transfers to Sting on Wednesday, May 7th. Further details and information about other transfers will be provided soon,” the studio posted. We don’t have work on how this will impact the rollout of transfers from dark worlds and other 64-bit servers, both of which were said to come after Sting arrives.

Meanwhile over at SSG’s other MMO, Dungeons and Dragons Online announced its second year of monthly VIP loyalty rewards. Subscribers can pick up an additional gift every month including an extra character slot, Bags of Many Things, and even a Red Guard Drake mount.
