It does seem as if the MapleStory franchise is blitzing the news as of late, what with the global rollout of MapleStory Worlds and the announcement of the upcoming MapleStory Classic. But let us not forget good ol’ dependable regular MapleStory, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary today!
Nexon released its Victoria Cup patch for the MMO, saying, “Two decades of adventure and still going strong. Get ready to meet Mo Xuan, our newest addition to the job roster! Want to switch up your character real quick? The brand-new fast character change function makes it a breeze! It’s been an incredible journey, and our passion is still burning bright.”
The studio also encouraged players to head to the Victoria Cup stadium for a slew of minigames such as soccer and boat racing for “easy rewards.”
