It’s time yet again for us to peek in on Towers of Aghasba, the co-op focused survival sandbox from developer Dreamlit Games. Readers may recall that when this game first started its early access, players were warning others away over its incomplete nature, though we also noted at the top of the year that the studio spent most of the final parts of 2024 fixing things.

So where do things stand now? In short, the addition and refinement of existing features. Filing through updates across January, February, and March, we note the ability for players to freely move production buildings, a wide assortment of quality-of-life fixes, and in its most recent major update, refinements to multiplayer that include better shared progression and stability along with more inventory space. The game also got mounts along the way as well, and interspersed through it all have been multiple hotfixes to address bugs and performance.

Dreamlit is now starting to look ahead to its major Update 11, which has no date or major details yet but has been confirmed by the studio to introduce instant recipe crafting at production buildings along with more than 150 new recipes being added to the game. More previews of Update 11’s feature set are promised soon.

As for the game’s current early access health on Steam, we find that recent reviews have now moved into “mostly positive” territory, though its concurrency on the platform is in the double digits right now.
