This week has brought itself a new patch to DC Universe Online, and if the earlier producer’s letter that talked up private matchmaking got you hyped, then get happy because that’s one of the features in this update.
The private matchmaking feature is being considered by Daybreak’s Dimensional Ink to be an experimental feature and warns fans that not all content may not function correctly for groups below the recommended number of players. If none of that concerns you, then simply head to the On Duty menu and select private match from the custom play section, then try to see if your toon can solo a raid.
In addition, the latest patch has added its next patrol event known as Patrol 2: Justice League Dark Cursed, which just absolutely rolls off of the tongue. This is the second of four such patrols being added as part of the 2025 campaign and grants players the opportunity of getting John Constantine as an ally if they’re successful.
Finally, the patch has updated the visuals for the game on PC that aligns texture visuals with those found on consoles, and has made a change to reward reclaiming that now only grants the option to buy out non-patrol event rewards for up to four weeks after an event ends.
