You might find yourself thinking that the new lighting improvements for Enshrouded can’t make the game look all that much different with its next update. But try actually watching the teaser for the next update just below. Thrill to the shadow and light playing off one another. It is very pretty. Like, that’s some good lighting. Remember when we were just impressed by some pre-drawn rays in particular scenes? Ah, memories of simpler graphics.
The teaser also contains numerous new points of interest that players will be investigating once the next update goes live, although it declines to tell fans much about them; it’s enough to know that they’re out there, waiting. There are things scurrying in the darkness, be afraid. Be at least moderately afraid. And check out the trailer, too! It’s pretty. Even with the scurrying monsters in the eponymous Shroud, those are pretty in a way as well.
