One of the things I love about having a dedicated room in my house with all the computers is that my family games together a lot – even if we’re playing different games. And more often than not, we are!

Sure, sometimes we combine forces for a group in Guild Wars 2 or City of Heroes because they are so well-suited to diverse characters and levels and interests. But most of the time, we’re off doing our own thing. On a lazy Sunday, I’ll be in Lord of the Rings Online, while my husband plays Destiny 2, my daughter plays Subnautica, and my son plays Minecraft. It’s awesome because we can chat and offer input as we play our own things.

How about you? Do you play the same MMOs as your significant other or relevant housemates?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
