does anyone want to hang out

There is no MMORPG permanent record. I promise. No one remembers if you ninja looted something and then darted away in World of Warcraft back in 2007. It no longer matters if you bought a little bit of gil in Final Fantasy XI to get a nice sword. Let he who is without taking advantage of someone’s death in Ultima Online cast the first stone. We forgive you now, really.

Well, theoretically we forgive you. I wasn’t there; I can’t speak for everyone. But we’ve all done things as younger people and less experienced players that we look back on with some measure of shame. Today, I want to hear about that… if you’re willing to talk about it, that is. So what’s a past MMO shame you’re willing to admit? Something you did that you really shouldn’t have done? It doesn’t count if you say that you were still right to do it because then it’s not a shame. We’re talking about things you regret and wish to be absolved for – or at least laugh about.

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
