If you were hoping for something new to do in New World that isn’t murdering players, how about murdering wasps? Trust me, they had it coming! We’re talking here about the return of Springtide Bloom to Aeternum, right on schedule for those who have been following Amazon’s roadmaps: It opens back up May 13th and sticks around through June 2nd.
“Each day, Wispy-Wasps swarm Wispybloom nodes across Aeternum. Truthseekers must locate the Wispyblooms scattered throughout the wild and defeat the Wispy-Wasps guarding them. As players conquer the Wispy-Wasps, they must gather Wispy Sprigs and Springtide’s unique bloom drops. Turn these materials in at Bloom Heralds to gain Event Reputation and earn event tokens.”
Tokens, of course, can be turned in for rewards at the Springtide Shop, which effectively levels up with better rewards as your rep increases. Just note that you need to be over level 20 to play the event. Fortunately, in Aeternum, that won’t take you long. Also worth a note is that there are some new rewards since last year, including the new Abigail mount, Springtide armor pattern, and Viridian skin set.
