The Elder Scrolls Online hasn’t been overly forthcoming about future development plans for the MMO’s housing, but the team certainly hasn’t forgotten housing exists, and we’re not just talking about the latest house giveaway. Today we’re talking about a major housing contest that ZeniMax Online is offering – and winners could score kind of a lot of sub time and cash-shop currency for their trouble.
The studio announced the “Welcome Home” housing contest today, asking players to create a house and submit screenshots to enter. You can’t just slop together any ol’ house, note; you’ll have to follow specific prompts and categories linking to home tours, like a cozy inn library or hidden outside garden.
A dozen total winners will receive a range of prizes, including ESO Plus sub time, crowns, a house, decor, houseguests, a signed art print, a video chat with the housing team, and of course, a showcase in a team video. The four grand prize winners (one from each broad category) could walk away with a whole year of sub time and all the stipend too (nearly 20K crowns). Entries are due June 6th.
