Free players and paying players alike get things for progressing through New World’s Season 8, but the lion’s share of the benefits do go to paid players. This isn’t going to surprise anyone, of course; that’s always been the case for New World’s seasons. On the plus side, of course, free players do get things including free tool skins, two artifacts (the Lich Gloves and the Vampire’s Vestments), dye packs, the Tainted Oratory Tent housing skin, and so forth, all outlined in Amazon’s official preview.
Paid players, of course, get all of these things along with several other benefits including nine themed weapons, the full Blackguard’s Armor Set, the Brush Off Shoulder and Touch Grass emotes, and so forth. Obviously, the paid players get more out of the overall deal, but if you want a rundown of what you can earn on both tracks you should check out the official preview now. Unfortunately, however necessary it may be, it appears only the paying players may touch grass.
New World’s PvP-centric Season of the Divide arrives May 13th.
