Overwatch 2 applies a balance update for Stadium and announces a collab with Street Fighter 6

Overwatch fans knew that balance to the popular Stadium mode was on the way, but this week the great tweakening has begun as the shooter’s latest patch turns the dials on several characters and a few abilities for Stadium enjoyers to brace for.

Naturally the adjustments in question get granular, but generally speaking D.Va is seeing some buffs to help her deal with beam damage characters, a reduction in Junker Queen’s ability to gap close too freely, nerfs to Reinhardt’s attacks, and some nerfs to Lucio’s healing powers among them. A pair of the mode’s items – specifically the booster jets and nebula conduit – have also gotten some nerfin’.

In other OW2 news – and before the Gundam Wing collab has had a chance to cool down – the shooter’s next collab has been announced and it’s with Street Fighter 6. Players can expect skins that dress Hanzo as Ryu, Juno as Chun-Li, Soldier 76 as Guile, and Sigma as M. Bison, among other well-known world warriors. An animated sizzle reel for the collab is below.
