We don’t report on Needs Games’ and LINE Games’ OARPG Undecember terribly often, but it’s always a nice surprise when the game gets larger updates, and while things have been kind of quiet on that front since last year, the game is back on the radar in 2025 thanks to last week’s Starwalker update.
The headlining feature is the new Wheel of Fate, which lets solo players advance through a constellation-shaped map filled with randomized chaos dungeon nodes. Those who can make it to the center of this series of randomized maps may be challenged by the Starlight Guardian, a new boss that drops unique rewards like a new link rune and a new artifact upon her defeat. Clearing through this mode also unlocks access to a gear synthesis system that lets players combine materials dropped in the Wheel of Fate into new gear, including the newly added two-handed sword.
The patch also applies some other updates to existing content, such as two new skill runes, a monster level cap increase to 170, a new level structure for chaos dungeons, and updates to player ranking that takes highest DPS with non-overlapping skills into account before ranking and rewarding players. There are also new raid schedules, a content reset for the void rift, and an assortment of balance adjustments that players may want to read through. Or you can just watch the Starlight Guardian pose aggressively in the trailer below.
