It’s been the talk of Tower of Fantasy for the past few days, but now it’s finally live this week: Ver.5.0: Kailo Sector has officially come online for the multiplayer gacha RPG with a whole bunch of new story and one extremely neon-colored new character.
As the patch’s name suggests, this update focuses on Kailo and the arrival of new visitors (presumably the player characters) to the distant space region. A new story featuring the Kailians is the centerpiece of the update along with the new zone of OreZero that promises stunning sci-fi landscapes and potent new bosses to fight.
Another major feature is the arrival of Lyncis, the livestreaming, spray-painting, hoverboard skater who uses her sick tricks as attacks on enemies. And of course there are a multitude of new events that are full of gacha banners, free bundles for doing missions or logging in, and more.
