The developers working on Final Fantasy XI are not done tweaking Besieged to make it more fun and rewarding, and that includes the most recent update to the game. Players who take part in the event will discover the new Morale gauge judging where the Five Serpent Generals are at. How do you boost morale? You take out the beast tribe hordes, of course, and as the morale gauge climbs, players get access to ever-stronger buffs, which allow for even greater demolition of the hordes. Which, in turn, boosts the Morale gauge further… it’s a vicious cycle. For the beast tribes.
Reforging artifact and relic equipment is also now less resource-intensive for players, and of course a new cycle of Ambuscade enemies and rewards has come around as happens every month.
