LOTRO finally activates its anniversary event missions, DDO totes out its last Tavern Tales adventure

If there’s a key word for Lord of the Rings Online this spring, it’s “Delay.” We’ve seen massive delays in everything from patches to new servers, and this trend includes a set of anniversary missions that were held back from the actual event start thanks to bugs.

Fortunately, LOTRO finally is bringing these new missions to players with today’s Update 44.1: “The Anniversary Event includes six new Missions, which can be accessed by speaking to the Hooded Stranger in The Prancing Pony while the Anniversary Event is active! These missions are available for characters above level 20, with Delvings available at level cap. Enjoy these ‘quests of yore’ in a new way!”

Not to be outdone, Dungeons and Dragons Online cracked open its own patch with Wednesday’s Update 73.3. This improved the VIP Bag of Many Things and activated the final quest of the recent Tavern Tales bundle: “Things are getting tense in the Stormreach Fish Market as local Sahuagin struggle with the Kobold Union for control. Bring order to the chaos in an adventure with multiple possible endings!”
