So with SMITE 2 adding Apollo, the God of Music, to its  beta lineup, we have to ask – is Apollo behind all music? Does he bear the blame or praise for this song? What about this one? Does he bear it even for this one? We don’t know. The official patch notes are not about specifically limiting Apollo’s musical scope but explaining how the man works, which is about firing projectiles, knocking enemies back with a dash, and ramping up attack speeds. His abilities don’t even reference important song titles, like… y’know, this one.

Of course, Apollo isn’t the only thing added with the most recent patch; it also includes the wandering market trader the Land Shark, something that will no doubt have people referencing this old thing if they remember it. And there are new skins, new balance tweaks, and other general improvements with the most recent patch. Check out the full rundown for all the details, and then relax to the charming sounds of music.
