Your pause to read this week’s One Shots — the modern version of the ol’ weekly funnies in the newspaper — is a good reminder to stop once in a while to take in the sights and reflect upon your journey so far. Oh, and also to let sleeping dogs lie.
“I thought I would switch gears this week as I’ve been spending more time in Guild Wars 2 than FF14 lately,” shared Vincent. “I wish GW2 had a screenshot tool similar to the one in FF14. Alas, we do the best we can.”
Minimalistway is making new friends at muzzlepoint in Star Wars: The Old Republic: “I  missed hearing ‘Target has achieved deadness!’ so I’m going to get a replacement. RIP HK-55! I’ll call others ‘meatbags’ for you.”
And speaking of SWTOR, Soso_tsundere said, “The Korriban version of Friends may not have taken off, but Acolyte Broo’dy’pantz is at least enjoying the new hairstyle options while dancing to ‘I’ll Be There For You’ in a blood fountain.”
Bree is up to her eyeballs in Palia these days and is manipulating the villagers to serve her every whim. “I love Kenyatta so much,” she said. “Kenyatta is one of the best-written and relatable characters in Palia; she’s definitely one of the NPCs whose text I always read. Also, it continually cracks me up when her farewell message is that she hopes I don’t get murdered. Nobody gets murdered in Palia, fortunately. Kenyatta reads too many true crime novels.”
And I’m making friends as well in Lord of the Rings Online! Here is part of my Mariner’s fan club in Moria, coming out for autographs and adulation.
But you all know that I’m your fan club, right? And part of my subscription means that I get at least one (1) cool new screenshot from you every month week complete with your ongoing stories of virtual adventures! I can’t wait!
